Red Carpet

My first large project at Virgin America was the creation of the company's employee orientation program from scratch. Playing off of Virgin's roots in music and entertainment, as well as a desire to emulate the airline's customer experience, I designed a day and a half of leadership introductions, company values learning, a scavenger hunt team building exercise in downtown San Francisco, and many other surprises that let new hires know without a doubt that they had chosen a GREAT place to work!

Over the course of my 10 years with Virgin America, I led the ongoing execution of the Red Carpet program, managing a small and mighty team to deliver over 200 orientation sessions consistently and energetically. Based off of regular employee surveys, Red Carpet was consistently rated as one of the highlights of a teammate's career with the company.
